Terms of service

Last updated 27 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and designStream (“we”, “us”), the UK business that runs Solio. By creating an account or using Solio you agree to them. If you use Solio for a business, you agree on its behalf.

Your account

You need a valid email address, Apple ID or Google account to use Solio. Keep access to it secure: anyone who can read your email can log in to your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

Plans, trials and payment

  • Basic is free. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe.
  • New accounts get 14 days of Pro with no card needed. At the end of the trial the account moves to Basic unless you choose a paid plan.
  • You can cancel at any time from Settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for; we do not refund part-used periods unless the law requires it.
  • We may change prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects your subscription.

Your content

Everything you put into Solio stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and display it only so we can run the service for you. You are responsible for having the right to keep your clients' details in Solio and for how you use them.

AI features

Sol, receipt scanning and research use AI models and can be wrong. Check anything they produce, especially amounts, dates and facts about other businesses, before relying on it. Each plan sets a monthly limit on AI requests.

Acceptable use

Do not use Solio to break the law, send spam, store material you have no right to, or try to get into other people's accounts or disrupt the service.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Solio running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may add, change or remove features, and will give notice before removing anything you pay for.

Ending your account

You can stop using Solio at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or lost profits, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell you by email before a significant change takes effect; continuing to use Solio after that means you accept it.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
